Pedro Miguel Rozo (Colombia, 1974) is a playwright, script writer and script editor. He has a Master degree in Literature from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana of Bogota, and also studied drama direction at the Superior Academy of Arts of Bogota. He has participated in several international playwriting residencies such as Fundación Carolina (Madrid, Spain), BBC World Service, and the Royal Court Theatre (England), where his play Our Private Life was staged at the International Season in 2011. In 2013 he won the Coral Award for Best Unproduced Screenplay at the Havana Latin American Film Festival and also was granted with the Catalina Award for Best Television Adaptation and Best Telenovela Script in Colombia. Additionally Pedro has worked as a playwriting professor in different Colombian universities, and currently he runs his own theatre company called Teatro Temporal.

In television he has worked in projects such as: “La Nieta Elegida” (RCN Television, 2021)“Rosario Tijeras 2”, “Rosario Tijeras 3” (Sony Pictures Television, 2018/19) “Los Briceño” (Caracol- Netflix, 2019), “Una verdad Oscura” (RCN Television, 2019), “Lady, la vendedora de rosas” (Sony Pictures Television, 2016), and also was part of the writer’s room of the project “Noticia de un secuestro” produced by Rodrigo García and acquired by Amazon Studios.
